Wissey festival
of Running
2024 marked our inaugural Wissey Festival of Running, and it was a blast! It included 2 races, 177 competitors, hundreds of supporters, plus a range of kids athletics activities. After a fallow year Festival 2026 planning is underway, watch this space for maybe something completely new….
About the race
- Fast and flat, PB potential on an officially measured course
- Race bib (with integrated timing chip). This will be allocated to you at the registration desk.

9:30 AM – Start of 5 mile race. (Age 15+)

How to Enter
Online pre-booking
You can enter online up to the day before each race. Numbers will be collected on the day.
All rules and policies can be found on the online booking system.

10 Mile – £22 (£2 discount for England Athletics affiliated runners)
Wissey Festival Kids Event
Not quite old enough to take part in the Festival of Running races? Come along and have a go at some fun athletics activities. Running, sprinting and throwing on offer. Suitable for youngsters from 4 to 14 – everyone who takes part will receive a free branded festival wristband! Adults welcome to take part too for a small donation.
Find us in the field next to race HQ at the Oxborough Village Hall.
Activities kick off at 11:30am and carry on until 12:30pm – this allows spectators to cheer on runners and also have a go. Look forward to seeing you there!
